Many professional golfers consider the tee shot as the most important shot in the game. A Tee shot is not only important to start off the game in style, but it is also important to give yourself positive psychological edge right in the very beginning. Good tee shots can build up your confidence early on in the game while, unsatisfactory shots can just as likely affect your motivation negatively. However, with a few tips, you can improve your shots satisfactorily.

Important tips:

Tee shots can be daunting for both amateurs and professionals’ as much depends on its final outcome Tee shots help you to start off the game on a positive note, however, the anxiety preceding the game can hamper this shot negatively. Therefore, to improve your shots you need to begin by increasing your mental strength. You should try and avoid distractions right before the game. A couple of deep breaths and relaxation techniques can help you calm yourself. Next you need to focus on your techniques. It is important that you have good understanding about the tee shots and the different techniques related to stance and grip. Choosing the right club is also important at this stage. Many stick to the driver, however, this may not always be the best option. You can instead make a decision based on where you want the ball to land and the overall conditions of the game. Since this is the beginning, as far as possible stick to the basics. Don’t be too adventurous or too cautious. Both extremes can affect your thinking and make you misjudge the shots. Finally focus and concentrate on the shot and allow your skills and practice to take over, it will be difficult for you to go wrong. With patience, practice and your natural abilities, you can improve your tee shots and maintain a grip on the game effectively.
