Eating nutritious snacks during the game

Eating nutritious snacks during the rounds of Golf are very efficient in adequately fueling your body and giving you the energy level you so desperately need.

Nutritious snacks:

Nutritious snacks include all those tit bits that contain energy and help the players to save themselves from fatigue. A handful of unsalted peanuts or juicy apples are enough in between rounds. Small quarters of fruits are especially beneficial as they also help hydrate the body. However, Food items like chips and sodas do not come under nutritious snacks and should be avoided on the field.

Making the right choice:

Snacks during golf rounds, provide valuable source of energy. This is necessary to survive for those long hours on the field. Nutritious snacks also provide freshness of mind so that players are able to focus and concentrate on their game for a longer time. The role of this valuable fuel starts right from breakfast itself. Having a healthy breakfast is the best way to stock up your body for the great day ahead. Care should be taken to avoid a huge greasy meal as this leads to sluggishness and physical discomfort. What you choose to eat also depends upon the timing of the play. If your rounds are scheduled early in the morning, then breakfast composed of a boiled egg or two along with salads and fruits are simply great. However, for an afternoon shift, you can broaden your choice further in terms of quantity. You need to make a smart choice between the different food groups like fats, carbohydrates and proteins. The advice of your physician can be sought to get the best possible list of nutritious snacks. Besides the food itself, you need to keep hydrating your body by sipping water in between rounds. Colas and sodas should be avoided on the food cart at all costs. By maintaining moderation and using your commonsense you can avoid making bad choices in snacks. You can also listen to your body and make the right choice from the arrays of snacks on the irresistible food trolley.
