Correct pressure behind the shot

No shot in golf is similar to the first one. You therefore need to change and modify the pressure behind each shot to increase the accuracy and precision of each shot.

The principles:

Pressure behind the ball indicates the force and the magnitude required for the ball to safely reach the target. You need to correctly analyze several factors to understand how much pressure you need to apply behind a shot. These factors include your position, the target, the distance and the path of the ball. A complete profile will enable you to learn appropriate pressure skills.

Applying pressure:

To apply correct pressure behind the ball, you need to have a correct stance. Many a times players apply an adequate amount of pressure but fail to get the desired result since inappropriate stance limits the movement of shots. You also need to consider the distance between your position and the target to correctly analyze the pressure required. It is obvious that if the target is very near you need to apply a little less pressure as compared to shots, which have to travel farther. There are many opinions expressed regarding the correct way of applying pressure. Many professional for instance believe that you need to apply downward pressure on the golf ball to have the fullest possible potential. The way you grip your club also has a profound effect on the overall power you need to exert. Sometimes because of poor grip, the ball fails to travel the desired path and if it is on track then it fails to reach the target at all. You also need to have a good back swing to insert proper pressure and force in your shot. Thus, to apply pressure you may have to rethink your entire game. To have insight into your shots, you can practice regularly. While practicing, try and apply different pressures behind your shots. This knowledge will help you to adjust your shots in the actual game. By understanding a few techniques and applying your knowledge, you can correctly apply pressure behind your shots.
